Driving down a backcountry road you dont expect to come upon such a lovely sight. At the end of the road you will find a lovely home in a wooded area. The front yard is a mass of trees and as many varieties of hosta as you can imagine. Two acres of gardens in all shapes and sizes intermingle with lawn. Both common and unusual annuals and perennials surround specimen trees, along with many roses in all colors .
A gazebo and benches allow you to rest and appreciate the beauty around them. A footbridge crosses a small rill. Stepping-stones and trellises intersperse the garden. Ina, at 81, spends her days weeding, replanting and growing flowers from seed (6 to 7 thousand). This is not just flowers, Ina says, but a Garden.
