Sue starts her own cuttings and seeds in a home-made greenhouse. The garden has been designed, planted and maintained by Sue with the help of her husband who started the beds. She likes to pay particular attention to color combinations in the garden. In the past she has 4H Gardened with her grandchildren. A former president of the Mint Country Garden Club, Sue is an advanced Master Gardener.
The garden was begun in 1962 and is a combination of perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees and grasses. There is also a great vegetable garden. The garden contains 85 varieties of Hosta, 38 varieties of grasses and 10 different Clematis. Feeders and water are used to attract birds.
